Samsung Galaxy model archive · 2026
The regular S26 and larger S26+ are the conventional starting points of Samsung’s 2026 flagship family. This guide explains their place beside S26 Ultra, which already has a dedicated buying guide on this site.

Generation at a glance
- 6.3-inch S26 and 6.7-inch S26+
- Adaptive 1–120Hz displays
- 50MP main and 3x optical telephoto cameras
- Processor choice varies by device and market
Choosing the regular phone with confidence
A larger display is useful for reading, maps and video, but it also changes reach, pocket fit and the feel of a protective case. Decide whether those trade-offs suit you before comparing headline camera claims. The regular S26 models already include a dedicated telephoto lens; that does not make their camera systems identical to Ultra. Keep hardware differences separate from Galaxy AI functions, whose availability can depend on language, software and services.
Which version is which?
S26 and S26+ are the regular sizes. For the top model, open our Galaxy S26 Ultra buying guide. S26 FE is a separate later addition. Features advertised specifically for Ultra, including its privacy-display technology, should not be attributed to S26 or S26+ simply because the phones share the family name.
Looking at one today
Check the exact storage option, processor specification and warranty region on the offer you are considering. Try the display at your preferred text size and test the camera views. Match charging accessories to the individual model rather than assuming the same maximum charging rate across the family. Compare the total purchase price and useful features, not just the size of a launch promotion.
Before choosing an older phone, check the exact model on Samsung’s current security-update list and confirm local network compatibility.
