Samsung Galaxy model archive · 2026
Galaxy S26 FE is a later addition to the 2026 flagship family, launching with One UI 9 and its own camera-and-battery balance. It should be considered separately from both the regular S26 models and S26 Ultra.

Generation at a glance
- One UI 9 at launch
- 6.7-inch AMOLED display, up to 120Hz
- 3x optical zoom and 12MP front camera
- 4,900mAh battery; 45W wired charging support
Useful video tools, with their limits understood
Tracking a selected person or keeping a moving shot level can be more useful than adding another maximum-resolution mode. Even so, a filming tool should be tested with the movement, light and subject you normally record. AI-assisted editing is a separate stage from capture and may require specific services or settings. Decide whether the feature solves a real problem in your work or family videos instead of choosing a phone from a demonstration alone.
Which version is which?
S26 FE was announced in August 2026, with availability following in September in selected markets. It is not an S26+ storage option and should not be assigned Ultra-only hardware features. The complete FE name matters for accessories, repair parts and comparing regional offers. Confirm the exact storage and processor specification on the particular offer you are considering.
Looking at one today
Try the camera’s optical zoom, face tracking where available and ordinary video recording before relying on launch examples. Check brightness, text size and charging compatibility. Compare the final price with discounted models in the main S range, keeping storage and warranty equal. Included cloud or AI trials may have eligibility conditions and expiry dates, so assess the phone’s lasting features separately from a temporary promotion.
Before choosing an older phone, check the exact model on Samsung’s current security-update list and confirm local network compatibility.
