S25 Edge used the Edge name for a particularly slim phone within the modern S25 family. Its main appeal is the balance of thinness, weight and camera hardware, rather than a direct continuation of the curved-screen S6 edge idea.

Generation at a glance
- 5.8mm body and 163g launch weight
- Titanium body
- 200MP main and 12MP ultrawide cameras
- Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy
Thinness is a preference with practical consequences
A slimmer phone can feel noticeably different in a hand or pocket, but the experience changes again once a protective case is added. Try the combination you would actually carry. Camera resolution is another separate question: a high-resolution main sensor does not reproduce every lens option from Ultra. For a distant subject, compare the actual camera system rather than assuming that a 200MP label makes the two phones equivalent.
Which version is which?
S25 Edge was revealed in full in May 2025 after the initial S25 family launch. It is separate from S25+, S25 Ultra and the later S25 FE. The Edge name here does not mean the same curved-display design as the 2015 S6 edge. Match cases and repairs to S25 Edge specifically; the family number alone is insufficient.
Looking at one today
Inspect the frame and glass and try typing with your preferred case. Compare battery expectations with your own routine rather than assuming a thin flagship behaves like a larger Ultra. Test the main and ultrawide cameras, including focus, and confirm the warranty region. Choose it because its physical design suits you, with the full specification understood, rather than treating thinness as an automatic improvement for every user.
Before choosing an older phone, check the exact model on Samsung’s current security-update list and confirm local network compatibility.
